"One More Thing" is just an open apology for ROKR

TUAW has just received confirmation that A le%26rsquo much-anticipated, invite-only %26ldquo;One More Thing%26rdquo; event is simply going to be an official apology for the ROKR phone. A le wants to let the affected markets know that they tried their best to help the ROKR become all it could be, but alas: they could rsquo;t salvage the otherwise promising product from the throes of Motorola%26rsquo engineers.

So unfortunately we wo rsquo;t be seeing an iPod video, or an iTVS, or a PowerBook with a kitchen sink port... but at least we%26rsquo;ll be getting a warm, comforting apology from everyone%26rsquo favorite guy in a black turtleneck.
