Blind ott burst onto the NZ music scene in 2002 with their self-titled debut album. Their gra roots fa ase was already such that the album debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts. The album also went on to awn multiple hits, including the singles "Phlex", "Nil by Mouth", "Room to Breathe", and "S.U.I.T." With the heavy weight of expectation that comes with a sophomore album, the rejuvenated Blind ott bounded into the studio.
