I'm a sucker for a good icon story (what can I say, I'm a geek). Here's a little story that uses A le's icon for DashCode and its similarity to an unreleased widget IDE as a starting point to talk about how one makes a great icon. Fascinating read (and yes, the author's first language i 't English so forgive him, however, feel free to continue mocking my grammar and elling).
