A le looking into iPod factory conditio

My previous post about the conditio in iPod factories was co trued by some as an attack on A le. The se ibly that A le, as a facele multinational corporation, can do no wrong boggles my mind. A le has one goal as a company, and one re o ibility to its shareholders: make money. They make iPods (and Macs) in China because there is lots of cheap labor there. Not too shocking.

With that out of the way, Macworld UK is reporting that A le is now looking into these reports about the iPod factory conditio . A le points to their su lier code of conduct (PDF link) which outlines what A le expects from their su liers.
