60GB Around the World

Mirko Kraemer wants to send a 60 gig iPod around the world, as a sort of modern day me age in a bottle. The idea is that people will put different images, songs, and text files on it until it finds its way back to Mirko.

That's the idea behind 60gbroundtheworld.com, which will be the HQ for tracking the black iPod's trek around the world. There is also a white iPod that will stay with Mirko as he travels around the world (promoting this idea, I a ume).

I'm not really sure if there is a point to this venture (though he is accepting donatio to 'fund the trip and his startup' so I imagine that is the point), but I wish him the best of luck.
