Somehow, I mi ed the first i tallment of this series, but in An Introduction to Tiger Terminal, Part 2, Mary Norbury-Glaser has put together a nice little walk through of some of the things you can do with the Terminal in Tiger: "In this second tutorial on Tiger Terminal, you'll learn how to use the terminal a to look at external volumes, then enable
h to acce files, scp to securely copy them remotely, sftp for secure ftp, and finally how to use rsync to synchronize files between two computers."If you've never checked out the intricacies of the Terminal (located in /A licatio /Utilities/), this might prove to be a useful starting point.
