Remember that amazing price reduction that A le a ounced along with the release of Shake 4.1 (well, only for the Mac version)? Seems that all that glitters i 't gold.A le sent a me age to their Shake users (via a listserv) and let them know that A le will no longer be actively developing Shake, but they are working on a brand new composition product (maybe). They are offering to lice e the code to production sho (or users I imagine) for $50,000 (or they can get a refund for the remainder of their service contract). That might seem a little costly but you also get 5,000 lice es which is a great deal.
