Growl is one of our favorite little Mac OS X notification addo here at TUAW, and it's always nice see more a and services ho ing on the bandwagon. Take GROSX, for i tance: a Growl notifier a for Google Reader (one of my favorite online newsreaders) that lets you know when new headlines are waiting for you. If you keep more than just a few news feeds in Google Reader and don't want to get slammed with alerts, you can filter by tag.You can thank Eli Dourado for this handy Growl + Google Reader integration, as I don't even see a donation link for his slick, open source work.
