Later today, A le will hold its second pre conference in so many weeks. Before the big a ouncement(s), let's have a brief recap of the rumors surrounding today's event.
- New Powerbooks. Several rumor sites are reporting that new Powerbooks will be released this afternoon. In light of the new iMac, I couldn't help but think of this article we posted back in September, featuring a patent A le filed for a laptop with a camera built into the cla of the lid. Will the Powerbook get the same integrated iSight treatment as the iMac or even (ga !) FrontRow?!?
- New Power Macs. It feels like the G5 Power Macs haven't received a su tantial update in a while. Think Secret seems to believe that they'll bear < an cla ="text">dual-core PowerPC 970MP proce ors as of this afternoon. That would be pretty nice.
- < an cla ="text">Image editing software. Is A le working on an image editing a lication? Think Photoshop's tools with iPhoto's interface. Today's event is the PhotoPlus Expo after all, and the invitatio A le sent out featured a camera le .
Either way, A le is going to have a huge presence at the Expo. Check out the floor plan. Booth number 338-the largest at the expo-has been reserved by an u amed company whose addre is "< an cla ="text">1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA."
